On Friday, October 4, María Elena Araneo, Argentina’s Country Coordinator for FONPLATA — Development Bank, took part in the 10th Meeting on Productive Development and Competitiveness, held in Rosario, Argentina.

Araneo participated in the panel “National and International Financing for Infrastructure”, where she presented the various financing instruments available to the Argentine provinces. She stated: “Our purpose is to always work closely with governments, supporting them in the realization of investment projects that they consider a priority for the development of their communities. We operate with flexibility and agility, as we recognize that the needs are both multiple and urgent.”

The event aimed to strengthen the infrastructure capabilities of the regional bloc, consolidating its position as Argentina's economic and productive engine. Authorities from the provinces of Santa Fe, Córdoba, and Entre Ríos signed the constitutive act of the Infrastructure Roundtable, which will coordinate priority public works projects and develop new financing strategies.
