As for Brazil, a USD 40-million funding will be provided to support the “Arapiraca for All” program, which will provide a more inclusive, sustainable, and resilient environment for this city in the state of Alagoas. Investments range from social housing and bike lanes to clean energy and accessible public spaces, directly impacting 234,000 residents, with a focus on vulnerable communities.
Additionally, the authorities discussed the proposal to increase subscribed capital, a key measure to strengthen the Bank's operational capacity and expand its impact in the region.
