Rafael Robles

Since May 2023, Rafael Robles is the Finance Vice President of FONPLATA — Development Bank. His previous position in the Bank was as Manager of Finance and Administration.

He worked as Director and Chief Financial Officer of the Bank for Investment and Foreign Trade (BICE) of Argentina and BBVA, where he reached the position of Vice President of  Capital Markets and participated in major transactions in local markets.

He specializes in banking and finance and has extensive experience in capital market transactions, advisory services to large companies, mergers and acquisitions and acquisition projects and investment portfolio management.

He is an Argentinian national, Robles is an economist graduated from the University of Buenos Aires (Argentina), holds a master’s in finance from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella (Argentina) and he is a Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) since 2007.
