On January 30, a USD-37.5-million loan agreement was signed with the municipality of Itabuna for the deployment of an Urban Integration Program that involves works in neighborhoods with infrastructure and sanitation gaps and will help reduce travel times and the risk of road accidents.

The planned investments are aligned with FONPLATA's Sustainable Debt Framework, specially the social and green categories. In this sense, the Itabuna 2030 Program will contribute to the fulfillment of three of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals: “Clean Water and Sanitation” (SDG-6), “Sustainable Cities and Communities” (SDG-11), and “Climate Action” (SDG-13).
