Argentina: Signing of Agreement of Headquarters and new office in Buenos Aires

FONPLATA signed a Headquarters Agreement with Argentina. The Development Bank has liaison office in Argentina since 2017 and this agreement expands its capacity for institutional- judicial level in that member country.

By signing the Headquarters Agreement, the Republic of Argentina accepts the establishment in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires of a FONPLATA liaison office to develop the necessary functions for monitoring operations in the country, enjoying its own legal entity and having ability to act in accordance with the provisions of its Constitutive Agreement and the Agreement on Privileges and Immunities Exemptions.

Likewise within the framework of the cooperation agreement signed with the BICE (Bank for Investment and Foreign Trade), FONPLATA agreed to relocate its current office in Argentina in the central building that this institution has in the city of Buenos Aires.

The document of the Headquarters Agreement is signed by the Executive Chairman of FONPLATA, Juan Notaro, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Worship of Argentina, Jorge Faurie. Insofar, the contract of assignment of the new office was signed by FONPLATA´s  Legal Adviser Carlos Staff, and BICE Vice President  , Federico Cafasso.
