FONPLATA signs Memorandum of Understanding with the Japan Bank for International Cooperation – JBIC

The Executive President of FONPLATA — Development Bank, Juan E. Notaro, and the Governor of the Japan Bank for International Cooperation, Nobumitsu Hayashi, signed a Memorandum of Understanding aiming at improving active collaboration through the investment of Japanese companies in South America, specially to promote projects that contribute to decarbonization and the use of renewable energies.

The Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) is a government funding agency focused on the Japanese economic performance through the promotion of exports, imports, and economic activities overseas.

Through this Memorandum of Understanding, the JBIC highlights the commitment of FONPLATA, as stated in its policies, to support its member countries to achieve a decarbonized society committed to the environment, thus facilitating the productive participation of Japanese companies in sustainable projects in the region.
