FONPLATA — Development Bank has provided the Government of Bolivia with a non-reimbursable technical cooperation fund of USD 180,000 to deliver immediate assistance to families affected by the recent heavy rains, flooding, and landslides in Samaipata.

The funds will strengthen emergency response and relief efforts, helping to mitigate the impacts on the population and restore basic conditions in the most affected areas.

FONPLATA reaffirms its commitment to stand by its member countries in the face of extreme weather events, offering agile responses and timely resources. The Bank and the Bolivian government will continue joining efforts to reinforce containment measures and support communities currently facing this challenging situation.
