FONPLATA Joins the Inauguration of the ELE Innovation Center in Chaco, Argentina

The Innovation Center — ELE Building, a landmark project aimed at strengthening education, science, and technology in the Argentine province of Chaco, was inaugurated in Resistencia, the provincial capital.

Located within the city’s Educational Hub, the new facility will feature laboratories and specialized classrooms for programming, robotics, video game development, and emerging technologies such as 3D printing and drone operation. It will also include conference rooms and teacher-training spaces, and areas dedicated to cross-disciplinary activities. Additionally, the center will house the Undersecretariat of Science and Technology and promote the development of key skills among students at various educational levels.

This initiative is part of the Social Investment Project in Public Education, Science, and Technology — First Phase (loan ARG-50), led by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science, and Technology and supported by FONPLATA, which aims to improve the quality of the educational system in the Province of Chaco.

With a total investment of USD 19 million—of which USD 15 million is financed by FONPLATA—this strategic effort expands access to quality education and strengthens the capabilities of the provincial education system.
