FONPLATA was honored with two awards at the GlobalCapital MTN Awards, presented by the specialized magazine GlobalCapital, one of the leading international references in capital markets. Winners are selected mainly by votes cast by market participants—issuers, investors, banks, and other relevant players—highlighting excellence, innovation, and quality of execution in the Medium-Term Notes (MTN) market.

The awards correspond to the period from October 2024 to October 2025, which is almost exactly the first year of implementation of the Institution's MTN program.

FONPLATA received the following awards:

• Breakthrough Issuer of the Year – award granted to issuers who have made a successful MTN market entry, standing out among their international peers. In 2025, FONPLATA issued 13 bonds under its MTN program, exceeding in a single year the cumulative total of issuances made since its first entry into the market, in 2019, until 2024.

• MTN 10: Deals of the Year  – awarded to the issuances arranged by Daiwa in 2025 (USD 50 million and USD 100 million at a floating rate and a five-year term). This award highlights the most impactful transactions in the global market considering their structure, execution, and reception by investors.

Both awards are a significant external recognition of the Development Bank's position as a recurring issuer in international capital markets and its financing strategy, based on diversification of sources, expansion of the investor base, and disciplined execution. They also contribute to strengthening the Institution's reputation among underwriting banks, investors, and peer multilateral organizations.

The Head of the Finance Division, Rafael Robles, attended the awards ceremony which took place on February 26, 2026, in London, and provided an unmatched opportunity to strengthen the Bank's institutional relations with relevant players in the international financial market.
